About the Family Fest

Thousands of gospel music enthusiasts gather each year for Family Fest. Itís a celebration of music, family and goodwill. Family Fest is the longest-running, outdoor, gospel music concert in SC. It features performances by local, regional and national recording artists. Over the past years this community event has hosted the talents of: Deitrick Haddon; Darwin Hobbs; Israel & the New Breed; Keith Wonderboy Johnson; LaShun Pace, and Timothy Britten. In 2005, gospel artists Mary Mary and Benita Washington brought nearly 40,000 fans to the park.

Family Fest serves as a "Thank You" from Glory Communications, Inc. (GCI) to the communities of South Carolina for supporting the Future Leader Scholarship fund. The highlight of this event is the Future Leader Scholarship presentations. Deserving high school seniors from across South Carolina are awarded cash scholarships to help with the extra financial needs of college. To date, GCI, has awarded over $100,000 through its Future Leader Scholarship Fund.

Future Leader Scholarship

The Future Leader Scholarship fund was created to help Freshman students with extra financial needs during college. For the past 15 years, Glory Communications, Inc. has awarded over $100,000 in cash scholarships to deserving high school seniors. Scholarship recipients are awarded during Family Fest.

The Future Leader Scholarship Fund is an educational project of Glory Communications, Inc.
